Low-shedding dog breeds

Updated 2026-11-06 · 16 breeds

If dog hair on every surface would drive you mad, a low-shedding breed helps. Low shedding is not the same as low maintenance: many of these dogs have coats that need regular brushing or professional clipping. No dog is truly hypoallergenic.
