What we store on your device
Your Dog Match saves your swipe progress (counts, the breeds you loved and passed, your sound and page-style choices) in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and you can erase it with the Start over button or by clearing your browser data.
Analytics
We count visits and actions (for example pages viewed, swipes and loves) using our own anonymous counter and, if you accept cookies, Google Analytics. We do not store your name, email address or IP address in our own counter, and we use the information only to improve the site.
Advertising
This site shows ads, including ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com, and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Photos
Breed photos are loaded from third-party image sources. Loading them sends your browser's request to those services.
Your choices
You can decline cookies on the banner, clear your browser data at any time, or use your browser's privacy settings. If you are in the UK or EU you have rights to access and delete personal data; because we do not hold personal data in our own counter, there is usually nothing to delete, but you can ask.
